Is an electrical certificate mandatory in Ibiza?
Yes, it is mandatory to connect power, to rent properties, and for any new installation or electrical renovation. In the Balearics it is also required for holiday rentals.
How long does it take to process?
We carry out the inspection and issue the electrical certificate on the same day. Registration with the Balearic Islands Industry department can take an additional 24-72 hours.
What happens if the installation doesn't pass the inspection?
We inform you of any deficiencies found and provide a quote to fix them. Once resolved, we issue the certificate at no additional inspection cost.
